Yes! Every 3 weeks you can refresh your feed which will enable you to revisit the singles you previously passed on so you can relook at them with renewed intention and clarity.

You can find the ‘Refresh’ button when you’ve run out of singles to connect with that match your filter criteria.

SacredSpark does not allow VoIP phone numbers for verification.

To help keep SacredSpark safe, trustworthy, and rooted in real connections, we require all accounts to be verified with a valid mobile phone number.

VoIP numbers (such as Google Voice or other internet-based numbers) are often used to create multiple or anonymous accounts. Unfortunately, this makes it much harder to protect against spam, scams, or misuse.

By limiting verification to real mobile numbers, we’re better able to:

• Ensure each account represents a real person

• Prevent duplicate or fake accounts

• Respond quickly and responsibly if issues arise

What happens if I try to use a VoIP number?

If you enter a number that isn’t a valid mobile number, you’ll be prompted to try again with a supported phone number.

You may see a message like:
“Please enter a valid mobile number. VoIP numbers are not supported.”

We know this extra step can feel inconvenient, but it plays an important role in protecting the integrity of the community and creating an environment where genuine, intentional dating can flourish.

Yes! There’s a setting available if you’d like to be more specific about who can view your profile.

You can choose to limit your visibility to people within a 15-year age range of your own age. For example, if you’re 24 and turn this on, your profile will only be visible to users ages 18–39. Anyone outside of that range won’t see your profile or be able to connect with you.

To enable this, go to Profile → Settings → Profile Visibility, and toggle on the age-based visibility setting.

You can still set your own preferences for who you’d like to see separately, this setting is specifically about who can see you.

We want you to feel comfortable and confident using the app, and this is one of the ways you can tailor your experience to fit what feels right for you.

The login and sign-up flow look the same in the SacredSpark app, so it might seem like you’re creating a new profile - but you’re not.

As long as you use the same email address or sign up method you originally signed up with, the app will recognize your existing profile and bring you right to your home page.

Per example - you signed up with your Apple ID - just click Apple again. If you signed up using email - just click email again - fill in the exact same email address you originally registered with - then click the link in the verification email and you’ll be right back into your account again!

If you accidentally used the wrong email or sign-up method, tap the back arrows until you reach the screen with your first name. From there, select the logout option in the top left. Then sign back in using the correct email or the sign-up method linked to your original account.

You can record, re-record, edit, or even delete your testimonial in Settings → Who I’m Matchmaking For. The single themselves also has control: they can choose to display or hide your testimonial on their profile by going to Settings → Manage Matchmakers.

Personal profile prompts are a meaningful way to reveal more of who you are and let your personality come through in your profile.

You can choose at least one and up to three prompts from a library of over 150 questions, then write your own responses to showcase your voice, perspective, and interests.

To add prompts, go to Profile → Edit Profile, then select Profile Prompts and follow the steps from there.

Answering engaging prompts helps others get a clearer sense of who you are, making it easier to form genuine connections (plus you can have a ball with these!)

SacredSpark is all about making dating more human, more intentional, and more personal. And video calling further strengthens that experience!

Once you’ve matched with someone, in addition to messaging or sending voice notes, you can hop straight into a video call by pressing the ‘video call’ icon from their profile page, or from within the chat window.

Video calls make connections more intentional while also adding an extra layer of trust and safety.

You can add your temperament directly from your profile settings.

Simply go to Profile → Edit Profile, then scroll to the Personal section and look for Temperament. From there, you can select the option that best describes you.

If you’re not sure which temperament fits you best, you can take the in-app quiz. The quiz will guide you through a set of questions and recommend the temperament that best matches your answers. Adding your temperament is a great way to help others understand you better and make more meaningful connections.

Temperaments are always optional, and even after you’ve added one, you can remove it at any time by unselecting your previous answer and saving it.

The check marks help you understand the status of the messages you send:

• Single Check (✓) — Your message was successfully sent from your device.

• Double Check (✓✓) — Your message was opened and read.

These indicators are there to give you clarity—no guessing, no wondering.

And if you prefer something more personal (which we highly encourage!), you can also send voice messages back and forth directly in the chat.

SacredSpark does not process subscription payments directly. All billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled through Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android), depending on the device you used to purchase your subscription.

This means any changes to your plan must be made through your device’s app store account.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription on iPhone (Apple App Store)?

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

2. Tap your Apple ID at the top.

3. Select Subscriptions.

4. Find SacredSpark in the list.

5. Tap it to:

   • View your plan

   • Change your subscription

   • Cancel your subscription

How do I manage or cancel my subscription on Android (Google Play Store)?

1. Open the Google Play Store app.

2. Tap your profile icon in the upper right corner.

3. Select Payments & subscriptions.

4. Tap Subscriptions.

5. Choose SacredSpark.

6. From there you can:

   • Review your plan

   • Update your subscription

   • Cancel your subscription

What happens after I cancel?

You’ll keep access to your premium features until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account will simply revert to the free version — you won’t be charged again unless you choose to resubscribe.

You’ll always see at least one photo or video clearly on every profile.

This gives you a real sense of who someone is before you decide to connect. Once you match, all of their additional photos and videos become visible too. The goal is to move beyond swipe-culture and help you start conversations with people who genuinely align with what you’re looking for.

For now, yes, you can invite one trusted friend or family member. We've found that keeping it personal allows for more meaningful guidance. We plan to add the option for multiple matchmakers as the community grows.

In your Sent Likes section, any profile you’ve liked will remain visible until one of two things happens:

1. They accept your match initiation — which creates a match, and the profile moves to your Matches.

2. They decline your invitation to match — at which point their profile will disappear from your Sent Likes list.

If the other person hasn’t taken any action yet, your like will simply stay in the list. It won’t disappear on its own — it stays there until they make a decision.

When you tap Pass (or the “X”), that profile is removed from your current queue. You won’t see them again in that moment.

However, passing does not remove your profile from their queue. They can still see you, and they can still choose to initiate a match. The same applies to either of your optional matchmakers—they can still create a connection if they believe it’s a good fit.

Right now, once you pass, you can’t go back and revisit that specific profile. But the ability to “undo” a pass is already in our development queue (yey :)

You need to enable microphone and camera access in your general phone settings.

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone / camera > SacredSpark and toggle it on. Then return to the app and try again.

Premium users have full visibility of profiles, including unblurred photos. 

As part of Spark+, users also gain access to the unique, personalized matchmaking feature. For matchmaking to work well, matchmakers need a clear and accurate view of both the person they’re representing and the people they’re considering as potential matches, so they can thoughtfully and authentically introduce and bring the right individuals together. Because of this, all photos are visible prior to matching for Spark+ users.

Yes!

Video intros are an important part of helping SacredSpark feel human and personal, not just like another dating app. They give others a real sense of who you are beyond photos and text.

If your current video isn’t feeling quite right, please re-record a new one, or you can delete it for now as well.

Video is amazing. Something simple and genuine works great! Just share a short clip that feels you — even 10 seconds saying or doing something you love is enough!

Video introductions are not mandatory. You can skip this as part of the onboarding prompts or delete/replace a previous video you made.

The video intro helps keep SacredSpark more human and real, letting people be seen and heard beyond just photos and text. It also helps ensure authenticity and prevent bots or fake accounts.

That said, we know not everyone feels comfortable on camera right away.

If you ever come across an account that feels off or inappropriate, please report the account so our safety team can review it and take action.

To do this, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the person’s main photo or intro video, then select “Report & Block this profile” and choose the reason that best fits. We’ll make sure it’s investigated promptly.
